the ultimate art edition is a super limited art edition of biophilia comprising of a wooden box containing biophilia - the manual, 10 custom made tuning forks and an individually numbered certificate in an edition of 200 copies.

biophilia - the manual
the manual is a special edition of the biophilia album featuring the music of biophilia housed in a 48-page, full-color, hardbound, cloth-covered, and thread-sewn book with a lenticular panel on the front cover and foil-blocked spine and backcover. designed by m/m (paris), it features essays by nikki dibben, photography by inez van lamsweerde & vinoodh matadin, as well as live photographs and artwork by m/m (paris) exclusive to this format. it contains 2 audio cds including the biophila album and an exclusive live recording of björk's performace of biophila during manchester international festival housed in black uncoated board wallets. it is removed from the box by means of a ribbon pull.
10 custom-made tuning forks
10 chrome-plated tuning forks, silkscreened on one face in 10 different colors, stamped at the back, and presented in a flocked tray inside the box. each fork is adjusted to the tone of a biophilia track, covering a complete octave in a non-conventional scale:
